The Zambia Correctional Service(ZCS) sponsored Ladies Volleyball Team, Prison Leopards have emerged champions at the 2022 Zambia Volleyball Association (ZAVA) Open Tournament in Lusaka.

The Ladies scooped the top spot after beating Zambia Army sponsored Buffaloes 3-2 in the Semifinals and finally beating the Zambia Police Service sponsored Nkwazi in a straight 3 – 0 this afternoon at NASDEC.

The Prison Leopards ladies team (Correct Girls) are the current Champions of the 2021 Volleyball National League and represented the Republic of Zambia early this year in Mozambique at the zonal Club Championships and ranked at 4th place in Zone 6.

Other accolades at Correctional Service Headquarters by the Correct Girls include the ZCS Commissioner General’s Independence Golden trophy and the Zambia Army Commander’s Golden trophy (ZAVA Close) all won in the year 2021.

The Open Tournament that has ran for 3 days from 15th to 17th April, 2022 marks the opening of the 2022 Zambian Volleyball Season.
