This service is provided by the Offender Management Unit which falls under the Corrections and Extension Services Directorate. The Offender Management Unit provides inmates with among other services the following:

• Decent accommodation, food; uniforms and beddings
• Counselling services. c.
• Conducting reception and discharge boards for case flow management and placing inmates on treatment programmes.
• organising literacy development, educational classes, entrepreneurial skills and career development and guidance
• Providing preferenal treatment to vulnerable inmates such as the aged, HEPs, juveniles, pregnant Females, differently abled, terminally ill and circumstantial children.
