This Directorate falls under the Operations Division. The Corrections and Extension Services Directorate is the main thrust of the correctional mandate of the Zambia Correctional Service. The Unit is critical in the operation of the Service especially with the shift of focus from mere custody of inmates to rehabilitation of inmates. The Directorate comprises the following Units:

1. Offender Management,
2. Chaplaincy,

• Prisoners’ education

1. National Parole Board.
